Week 2 began on December 21, so it was a short week. The weather was going to be around 40 or so for a high on Thursday and Friday, so we really wanted to get the basement floor poured. On Monday, the wall forms were torn down. On Tuesday, the basement floor was prepared and on Wednesday the floor was poured. The masons worked all day to get it smoothed out and they got done just after dark. This accomplishment means that we really can progress throughout the winter and hit our target move in date this summer.
