Week 6 was unbelievable. We got the house framed up, the inside walls installed and , oh yeah, we got a bathroom :)Seriously, it was a great week. We now really have a good sense for how high up it seems when we are standing on the first floor. It is an awesome view, and you are way up off the ground. It's really starting to take shape. And, it sure is muddy, but the carpenters have worked hard to get us to where we are right now.
There will be a lot of windows, which you cannot really see now because the rough openings are covered up. But the back end is basically all glass, which is what this location is all about. Had Chuck Benjamin over this week to take a look and see what Tufco flooring will work for the main garage, the mancave garage and the hunting room. These are extremely important decisions. We also went to Baltic Ohio today and looked at cabinets at Schlabachs. We are probably pretty close on deciding on the hardwood floor and the cabinets.

When they start to frame it in, you can really see perspectives, can't you? I love this part of building! I also love the picking out of all the materials. Looks like you are going to have a great view!......... A man cave and a hunting room? Are you having a golf room too? And Marilyn, do you have an art room?
